Blackfield & Langley will be trying to bounce back from their first Sydenhams Wessex Premier League defeat for three months when they cross the Solent to play Newport (IoW) tonight.

The Watersiders had two players sent off as they lost 1-0 at home to mid-table Moneyfields on Saturday, with substitute Gary Austin scoring the only goal.

Blackfield’s defeat was their first in the league since losing 2-0 at Lymington Town on September 8.

Moneyfields’ win was their fifth on the bounce in all competitions.

Second-placed Horndean will go level on points with Salisbury if they win their fourth on the trot at Brockenhurst tonight.

Brock hot-shot Mark Barker, left, drew a rare blank as the New Forest club's nine-match unbeaten run ended on Saturday.

They crashed 3-0 at Whitchurch on Saturday to two goals from David Parry and one from Aaron Jarvis.
