Overturned vehicle causes motorway delays
A HAMPSHIRE motorway was closed after a vehicle fire this morning.
The M27 eastbound is closed at junction two following the fire and cars are backed up to Cadnam on the A31.
A crash on the M27 westbound was causing tailbacks from Hedge End to Bursledon, while there were delays on the eastbound side of the road between Whiteley and West End.
Traffic was also building on the northbound carriageway of the M3 after a vehicle overturned, which happened between junction nine and junction eight.
Delays were being reported as far back as the M27 slip road both east and westbound.
The M27 reopened at junction two at about 9.30am.
