The scene of the accident
MOTORISTS are facing some delays on the M3 this morning after two accidents.
They took place on the southbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 12 for Eastleigh.
The first one involved one car at 8.28am, while the second involved three vehciles on the same stretch of motorway at 8.36am.
The vehicles have now been cleared and traffic is easing, but some delays remain.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said the occupants of the vehicle in the first incident, and one person in a vehicle in the second were looked at by ambulance crews at the scene but did not need to be taken to hospital.
