A BURGLAR smashed into a restaurant in Southampton and stole hundreds of pounds.
Police have released CCTV footage of the incident, which happened at the Piccolo Mondo Italian eatery in Windsor Terrace, Southampton.
Images show a white man wearing a light-coloured hooded jacket with a block stripe across the front, as well as jeans and Nike trainers.
Officers say he got into the building at about 9pm on January 17 by breaking the front glass door before stealing £600 from the tills.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: "Do you recognise the man in the CCTV?
“Do you know who is responsible for the burglary or did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the incident?”
