LUXURY cars worth thousands of pounds were stolen during a burglary in Hampshire.

Thieves forced their way into a building in Hornbeam Road, Chandler’s Ford, and stole car keys before making off with a black BMW X6 and a black BMW 320D Sport.

There was a Louis Vuitton handbag, an iPad mini and a baby’s pushchair inside the X6 when it was stolen and both vehicles have 62 registration plates.

Detective Constable Dal Andrews said: “Have you seen these two vehicles since they were stolen in the early hours of Saturday morning?

“If you know where they are or know who has taken them, please contact police immediately.

“We would also like to remind residents to ensure their vehicles and homes are left secure at all times, not to leave car keys within sight or next to entrances to your homes and not to leave valuables in your vehicle.”

The incident happened between midnight and 9am on Saturday, February 20, and anyone with information can call police on 101 and quote crime reference number 44160073917.
