FIREFIGHTERS had to free a driver trapped after his car rolled several times in this dramatic crash.
The incident happened on the A272 at Cheesefoot Head, near the Matterley Bowl at around 9.30pm last night.
A witness who called police said the vehicle, a blue BMW, had come off the road's westbound carriageway and rolled "several times".
Crews from Winchester and Eastleigh attended at 9.30pm last night and cut the man in his 60s from the vehicle.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Both sides of the road were closed for around an hour causing some queuing.
