A TEENAGE girl was assaulted by a man who followed her around and then stroked her face.

The 16-year-old victim was sat outside a coffee shop when a man she didn't know came over and asked if she was okay.

She then tried to leave but the man followed to a bus stop where he stroked her face with the back of his hand several times.

The girl was said to be left feeling upset and very scared by the ordeal.

The incident happened outside Starbucks in The Meads shopping centre in Farnborough on Monday afternoon, around 4pm.

The bus stop was outside the Tilly Shilling pub.

The man is described as in his 40s or 50s, just over 5ft 6, skinny build and Asian.

He had black or brown hair that was slicked back and patchy, with a bald spot at the top of his head, and had a gold tooth on the left side of his mouth.

He wore a navy blue trench coat with a large collar, scruffy trainers and was carrying a Sainsbury’s carrier bag.

PC Chris Brown, of Aldershot police station, said: “This is a concerning incident that has left the aggrieved feeling very scared and upset.”
