AS THE date for the referendum draws near, we notice an increased interest in staying on Europe, mainly from America.
A leading article in the Ford house magazine, by the manager of Ford Europe, implies it would be foolish of the manufacturing industry to leave Europe.
I don’t expect that many people who have had their jobs transferred to the continent would agree with him, leaving them to struggle.
I expect a visit from the American president will try to convince us. I watched Boris Johnson on TV recently and his words make the most sense – would the USA consider sharing its sovereignty with its neighbours? I don’t think so.
So bear these thoughts in mind when you vote.
