A MASKED man brandishing a knife threatened a worker at a bookies in Hampshire before making off with hundreds of pounds.
The man raided the Coral outlet in Station Road, Hook, between 9.25pm and 9.35pm on Monday.
He walked to the counter before demanding money from the 30-year-old shop worker.
After taking about £780 in cash he made off in the direction of the nearby Tesco supermarket.
He is described as wearing a black Nike hooded top and trousers, balaclava and trainers and was carrying an orange-coloured bag.
Detective Constable Mark Ogburn, from Aldershot CID, said: “This is a rare incident to take place in Hook, but I would appeal for anyone who has any information about what happened to contact us as soon as possible.
“Were you in the Station Road area at around this time? Perhaps you were in one of the nearby pubs or restaurants? Did you see a man dressed in black acting suspiciously? If so, please get contact us.”
Police have released a CCTV image of the man, and want anyone with information to contact DC Ogburn at Aldershot CID on 101, quoting 44160165186.
