Cyclist causes mayhem on motorway
POLICE were called out this morning after reports that a cyclist was riding along a busy hampshire motorway.
The cyclist was spotted heading eastbound on the M27 by concerned motorists who rang police to report the rider.
Vehicles were advised to slow to speeds of 30mph as a patrol car was dispathed to locate the cyclist.
He was found just past the junction five to Eastleigh and Southampton Airport and was spoken to by officers on the hard shoulder just after 8am today.
