A MAN has been taken to hospital after police discovered 28 'illegal immigrants' in a lorry in Hampshire.
A multi-agency response was launched after the incident, which happened in Portsmouth yesterday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and medical treatment was being provided by South Central Ambulance Service.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene, near Walton Road in Drayton, at about 9.45am, and a man was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital.
