AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a shed was destroyed in an arson attack.
The building in an allotment side on Water Lane, Totton, was set on fire between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday, June 17.
Two sheds were broken into but no-one was injured during the incident.
PC David Barnes, from Lyndhurst Police Station said: “These allotments are well maintained and the owners take great pride in tending to this land.
“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anyone suspicious around this time or leading up to this time, on Friday night, to come forward.
“If you own an allotment, shed or outbuilding, ensure your property is secure, tidy away any tools or machinery and consider fitting a shed alarm or external lighting.”
“I would urge anyone who has any information about this incident to make contact with us, in confidence, via 101 quoting 44160227345.”
