TWO people were cut out of their car after it flipped over on a Hampshire motorway.
The M27 was closed between Fareham and Gosport junctions after the crash at about 11.15pm on Sunday.
Firefighters from Fareham, Cosham and Southsea were sent to the eastbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12 after the car came to a stop on its roof.
The 20-year-old driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.
A 19-year-old front seat passenger was cut free from the vehicle and taken to Southampton General Hospital with a serious head injury and a 20-year-old rear seat passenger was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers are keen to piece together the circumstances of the crash and anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Wayne Voller on 101 and quote reference number 44160238596.
