FROM fairy godmothers to ugly sisters - schoolchildren have been transformed into pantomime characters as they walked the boards.
A cast of 140 young actors at Norwood Primary School have spent weeks preparing for their school play.
This week more than 180 parents, grandparents and siblings will fill the school hall for the performance of Cinderella and Rockerfella this week, a reworking of the classic pantomime Cinderella.
Year five children have learnt their lines and become good fairies, bad fairies and ugly sisters for the show based on the fairytale romance of Cinderella and Rockerfella, otherwise known as Prince Charming.
The first performance was last night but families can also watch the play at the school in Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh, tonight and Thursday.
Tickets are £2.50 and available from the school office.
