A MAN has been bailed by police after a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash outside a Hampshire pub.
Brian Tozer, kitchen assistant at Chalkhill Blue in Andover, died after being struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of Folly Roundabout, Redon Way, in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, March 6.
Mr Tozer, of The Hexagon, was found lying in the road by a passing motorist who called an ambulance.
The 46-year-old was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he later died.
A 28-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident had been bailed pending further enquiries until June 28.
He has now been re-bailed until early August.
