Singer and rapper Example is to headline a party for up to 7000 people on the beach.

A nightclub will be putting on the party for thousands on the beach on the Saturday night of the Bournemouth Air Festival.

Halo is expecting some 7,000 to attend beachside event 'Sunsets on the Beach', the line-up for which is due to be announced today.

The four day Bournemouth Air Festival this year takes place from Thursday, August 18, until Sunday, August 21.

The club is working alongside veteran Night Air producer Wave 105, which is also putting on the Friday night party 'Hits on the Beach' - with a more pop-orientated line-up due to be announced on Monday.

All the events are sponsored by Shorefield Holidays.

The line-up was revealed last night with Example announced as the headline act.

Other acts set to feature on the bill include Blonde, Jaguar Skills, Majestic and Foor.

The four day Bournemouth Air Festival this year takes place from Thursday, August 18, until Sunday, August 21.

The Thursday Night Air event will have music from the Royal Marines Band Collingwood in 'Proms on the Beach'.

Also, the revamped Night Air programme will see a mini tattoo on the East Overcliff (Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening) with the RAF Queens Colour Squadron, alongside the Royal Navy Beat Retreat sunset ceremony and unarmed combat displays by the Royal Marines.

Tickets for the events are on sale through BHLive at bhlivetickets.co.uk.
