THE pilot of a glider which crashed in a Hampshire field has been named by police.
Kay Draper, of Marlborough, Wiltshire, died when the glider she was piloting came down in an uncut corn field in Southwood Farm Lane, near the village of Bradley, at around 11.55am yesterday.
The 60-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The glider started its flight at Lasham Airfield.
Hampshire Constabulary is supporting an investigation by the Air Accident Investigation Branch into the circumstances of the crash.
