BEN Ainslie won the Portsmouth leg of the America's Cup race.
Ainslie and his Landrover BAR crew were beaten into second place by reigning champs USA in the sixth race of the Portsmouth stage of the America's Cup.
But the result means that they finishs the stage at the top of the leaderboard, with the USA just a single point shy of them in second.
The result also means that the UK are at the top of the overall leaderboard, a point ahead of the nearest rivals the USA.
