HUNDREDS of people have been enjoying the Bursledon Regatta this weekend.
The popular event which has been going for 150 years sees a day of racing and had a special Olympic theme.
Hundreds of people watched on at Elephant Boatyard where a variety of races.
The theme this year was Rio, and the event had Brazil flags and some even got into the carnival spirit by wearing special outfits.
People enjoyed a variety of races including canoe, rowing, dinghy, sculling, there was also a water carnival which included a family race, blindfold race and even an egg and spoon race.
This evening there will be a torchlight parade where chains of illuminated dinghies towed by launches will parade in Bursledon Pool between Land'es End Hard and the Elephant Boatyard.
To end proceedings last night in style there was a fireworks display.
Today the event will have yacht races which start and finish at Bald Head Buoy.
