A MAN has been arrested after a car hit a tree in Hampshire in late-night crash.
Police were called to Templars Way at 3.30am on Sunday after reports that a silver Ford Fiesta ST left the road and crashed into a lamppost and a tree.
Four people were injured including a 19-year-old, who remains in hospital in a critical condition, while a 21-year-old man from North Baddesley has been arrested.
PC James Fibbens said: “We are investigating the exact circumstances of this collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the incident.”
