FANS were delighted to see Hollywood star Matt LeBlanc in Hampshire filming scenes for a TV show.

The former Friends actor and current Top Gear presenter was spotted at Swanwick Marina by staff at Boat House Swanwick, who excitedly took to social media to share the news.

And Nicola James ran into LeBlanc while out and about yesterday afternoon.

She said: "He came and did a bit of shopping in Foulkes and Sons Chandlery Barge yesterday in preparation for a show on Top Gear.

"They did a bit of filming in and around the Chandlery Barge and Boatyard.

"A really nice friendly chap."

According to staff at the boathouse, the show's crew came in for lunch and took sandwiches away.

Daniel Turner, from Ideal Collection, which runs the Boat House, said: "I was just walking past and I saw him get out of one car and pop into another, so I took a picture quickly but he was surrounded by the rest of the crew.

"At the Boat House we were more than happy to accommodate him.

"It was great to have a celebrity of this gravitas enjoy the marina and the Boat House."

It comes after LeBlanc was seen at a garage on Portsmouth Road, Cosham, yesterday.

It was announced earlier this week that LeBlanc, also known for sitcom Episodes, has signed a two-series deal to present Top Gear, which will return to screens in 2017.
