THOUSANDS of people in Hampshire are catching up over a cuppa to support a leading cancer charity.
Staff at the Southern Daily Echo offices in Southampton are among those sticking the kettle on and getting the cakes out for Macmillan Coffee Morning day.
Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraiser - the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning - is a mammoth fundraising drive taking place in offices, shopping centres, clubs and shops across the country.
The national charity - which provides support to cancer patients and their families - is asking everyone to crack open the ginger nuts and pop in to their local venue for a cuppa.
What are you doing to celebrate the event?
