POLICE have named a man who died after a head-on crash on a Hampshire road.
Officers have launched an investigation after the collision, which involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot Boxer van and happened at about 4.40pm on October 24.
The vehicles were driving down Hartley Lane in Hartley Mauditt near Alton when they crashed head on and the driver of the Corsa was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has now been named as Rafal Zielinksi, 40, of Parkside Road in Reading.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: "The driver of the van and his passenger suffered minor injuries and were both taken to North Hampshire Hospital as a precaution.
"Next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by our officers.
"Anyone with any information about the collision or who saw either vehicle prior to the incident is asked to call PC Andrew Hector on 101, quoting 44160402279."
