A HAMPSHIRE moped rider has died after a crash on a city road this morning.
The 52-year-old man was driving his Yamaha when it was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi pick-up truck at about 6.30am.
After the crash, which happened at the junction of Kirpal Road and Eastern Road in Portsmouth, the moped rider from Gosport was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries.
The truck driver was uninjured.
