An elderly pedestrian who died after a car crash in a Hampshrie town has been named.
Hazel Nash, 89, from New Milton, died in hospital after a collision with a Rover car in the town.
It happpened in Whitefield Road just before 2pm on Tuesday.
Mrs Nash’s family have paid tribute to her in a statement released through Hampshire Police.
It said: “Hazel Nash was a well liked and respected resident of New Milton. She was a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all the family and all who knew her.”
The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Lymington, was treated for serious injuries at Southampton General Hospital.
