A pop-up Emporium in the former Flour Mill at Gosport's Royal Clarence Marina has opened.

Showcasing the work of local artists, it contains an eclectic range of beautiful and unusual gifts and artworks as well a quirky crafted items, from around 20 local creatives.

This Sunday, November 27, is the official Launch Event from 2-4pm when some of the artists will be on hand to chat. There is entertainment for children too with their favourite cartoon characters, face painting and some exclusive pieces on display.

Four hours of free visitor parking is available in Cooperage Green, Weevil Lane, Gosport, PO12 1AX.

The Emporium will be at the Flour Mill until December 23rd. Normal opening times are Wednesday - Saturday 10am - 8pm, & Sundays 10am - 4pm. They are closed on Monday & Tuesday. They are located at Royal Clarence Marina, Weevil Lane, Gosport, PO12 1AX.

The Emporium is the brainchild of a small group of local artists and crafts people, led by Julie D'Arcy of One of a Kind furniture shop (Whitworth Road, Gosport). For the next five weeks, the venue will be open to the public on a trial basis with the hope of finding a firm place to continue throughout 2017.
