ROD Stewart is set to headline this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
The 71-year-old rocker has sold millions of albums across the world and played to thousands at the Ageas Bowl last summer.
The festival organisers announced this morning that Stewart, known for hits including Maggie May and You Wear It Well, will close out the Sunday of this year's event.
It emerged earlier this year that the festival was at "real risk" of being cancelled following a dispute between organisers and the Isle of Wight Council, but the problems have since been resolved.
Stewart joins Arcade Fire, who have already been confirmed for the 2017 event.
