THE National Health Service is seeking the help of Hampshire residents to improve its service.

An online survey for Fareham’s community members is available as the NHS attempts to shape the future planning and delivery of care across the county.

All 10 Fareham GP practices, NHS Fareham, Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group and the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust have joined together for the survey. Open until December 23, it consists of 20 questions.

The responses will be used as part of the Better Local Care (BLC) initiative – a new partnership to shape the delivery of Hampshire care.

Dr Tom Bertram, a Titchfield GP and BLC leader for Fareham, said: “GP practices are now working together to see how they can transform local services and we very much want to hear people’s views.

“The NHS needs to make the best possible use it can of its existing precious resources to not only sustain but also improve NHS services where we can.”

Residents can also state if they would be happy to see a healthcare professional other than their regular GP if they had an urgent issue.
