AN EXTENSIVE search was launched after men's clothes were discovered on a beach.
The full outfit was found on the beach near Egypt Point, Cowes, at about 10am this morning.
Cowes RNLI began a lifeboat search from Cowes Harbour to Newtown Creek and Newport Coastguards combed the shoreline.
The search follows a similar incident in Eastney, Portsmouth, on Wednesday.
The Cowes operation also extended to Osborne Bay in the east but nothing was found, and the lifeboat returned to its station at about 11.30am.
