Elderly man left seriously injured after being struck by car
Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was left seriously injured following a collision.
The 81-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car in Sandown on the Isle of Wight on January 3.
Suffering serious injuries, the man was hit shortly before 6pm by a black Hyundai Getz on the Broadway.
PC Dom Green said: “This was a serious collision which has left a man with multiple injuries. We would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision happen or who saw the car prior to the collision.”
