IT’S a chance to hear from a true insider about some of 2016 most surprising events.

Mark Hoban will speak at a special event for some of Hampshire’s top businesses on the impact of Brexit and Trump’s presidential election.

The former MP for Fareham and coalition government minister from 2010-2013 will give his insights into business and politics as part of an evening for The Rainbow 100 Club members.

The club is group of local businesses - many of whom are members of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce - who have joined together to help support The Rainow Centre in Fareham.

The charity provides a form of specialist education called conductive education to children and adults with cerebral palsy, head injury, stroke, MS and Parkinson’s.

Rainbow Centre CEO Lara Bull said: “One of the key benefits to members is three top level events a year including guest speakers.

“We are fortunate Mark Hoban has agreed to be guest speaker at our March meeting, particularly in view of the financial climate and with the forthcoming triggering of Article 50 we wanted to offer the opportunity to other Chamber members.”

The event will take place on March 16 at the Grand Café in Southampton at 12 noon until 3.30pm and costs £30.00 a head and includes coffee, networking, two-course sit down lunch, tea or coffee and speakers.

Guests of chamber members are welcome.
