Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is preparing to help protect the Suffolk coastline ahead of flood and weather warnings for the coming days.
Severe floods have been anticipated, with a water rescue unit, incident command unit and a water rescue boat from Fareham being deployed towards Ipswich.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are sending units to help with the possibility of flooding just in case. The team are getting ready now to travel as part of the national resilience.”
The Met Office is currently issuing 12 sever flood warnings for Anglian, with 64 flood warnings.
