NINTENDO has revealed the final details of its hotly-anticipated new Switch console at a hands on event in London - and the Daily Echo was there to take it all in.

The handheld/ hybrid console, the first of its kind, will launch on March 3, for £279.99 and will feature the ability to play home console standard videogames on the go via the console’s built in 6.2 inch, 720p - touch screen. Alternatively gamers will also be able to play in full HD on a television by docking the console to a separate device, and using the machines detachable controllers, or a videogame standard controller.

Each of the systems detachable controllers are packed full of features including an advanced IR pointer, motion controls and  each can be used either together or separately allowing for two players to go head to head right out of the box.
