A RESTAURANT is bringing a taste of the 'good old USA' to Southampton after throwing open its doors today.

The Diner in Westquay has taken inspiration from Stateside and says it is 'unlike any diner you've seen before'.

It features blue leather barstools, milkshake stations, a sno-cone machine, and either pink booths or 'classic' seats.

A Diner spokeswoman said: "From all day breakfasts with cheeky Bloody Marys through to an afternoon of Diner dogs and burgers and a craft beer selection.

"Journey through to our rockin’ craft beer list, Camden Hells, Beavertown Smog-Rocket, Kona Big Wave, Brooklyn Half Ale.

"There’s something for everyone on the menu. Seriously.

"We’re especially proud to present The Diner’s Blue Plate specials. Fall in love with our homemade meatloaf, gooey mac & cheese, hot and spicy chili con carne, melt in your mouth buttermilk fried chicken and sticky baby back ribs."
