POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a break-in at a Hampshire dental surgery in which the burglars took a safe containing cash.

Smile Studio in Chandler’s Ford had its door smashed in between 9pm and 11.45pm on Thursday night.

An alarm was set off during the raid.

Police have not said how much money was inside the black metal safe stolen by the intruders.

They are appealing for information about the burglary which happened in Bournemouth Road at a time when there would have been passing traffic.
