THEY are the famous faces throwing their weight behind Cancer Research UK this World Cancer Day.

A host of pop stars, actors and big names from the world of television have joined the movement to create one incredible Act of Unity tomorrow.

Among them are much-loved presenters Ant and Dec, Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan, Niall Horan of boyband One Direction, former Pussycat Doll and X-Factor judge Nicole Sherzinger and Spice Girl and radio show host Emma Bunton.

Stars of the screen have also got on board with Cancer Research UK’s fundraising and awareness drive, including Ray and Jaime Winstone, Downton Abbey’s Michael Fox and Laura Carmichael and Carpool Karaoke genius James Corden.

Now the charity is urging the people of Hampshire to join forces and show their support too, by buying a Unity Band or making a donation that will help progress much-needed research into the disease.

Every Unity Band worn, every pound donated and everyone who shows their support will play an important part in a lifesaving story.

You can buy yours by visiting your local Cancer Research UK shop in East Street, Southampton or Shirley High Street.
