Saints will be backed by 32,000 fans at Wembley next weekend after selling out their allocation of tickets for the League Cup final.
Fans snapped up an extra allocation in just a matter of hours this lunchtime to ensure that Claude Puel’s side will be backed by an entire St Mary’s worth of supporters.
The game against Manchester United, which takes place a week on Sunday, is a first major final for Saints since 2003.
Saints confirmed the news with a message from Steven Davis, who is expected to skipper the team at Wembley.
