A BRAVE seven-year-old has donated 14 inches of her hair to charity.
Nicole Fouch, seven, from Townhill Park was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in December 2015.
It means she has difficulties with many of the everyday tasks most of us take for granted – like taking a different route to school or communicating with friends.
But is hasn’t stopped her wanting to raise money for the charities who have helped her and her family since the diagnosis and the year two pupil at Townhill Infants’ School has already raised £700 in aid of Autism Hampshire and the south’s branch of the national autistic society.
Mum Rebecca, a lab technician for Hovis, said the aim is to raise £1000 with the sponsored hair cut and split it evenly between the two charities.
She said: “They have helped us out so much and Nicole just wanted to say thank you.”
Nicole’s hair – which was cut at salon Kuts and Beauty 2 – will go to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children who have lost hair due to cancer treatment.
