A 15-year-old has been rescued from a Hampshire marina after becoming trapped in mud.
The girl was rescued this afternoon after emergency services received a call at approximately 3.22pm yesterday.
Calshot lifeboat was called out to the scene in a small boat with three volunteers to a female who was stuck in the mud up to her knees, north of Hythe Marina at Veals Lane.
Also in attendance were fire crews from Hythe, Hardley and Redbridge fire stations as well as the coastguard.
South Central Ambulance sent their hazzard area response team and one ambulance.
The youngster was plucked from the mud and returned to the shore.
She was then treated by paramedics for a leg injury but did not require hospital treatment.
