WINCHESTER man Marcin Suluwa has been banned from the road after he was caught drink driving.
Suluwa, 31, of Alresford Road, was stopped by officers on St Cross Road, Winchester, on February 3. He admitted the offence.
His alcohol level of 82 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath was more than double the legal limit.
Magistrates in Basingstoke disqualified him for 17 months, fined him £240 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The ban will be cut by 18 weeks if he completes an approved course.
