A pet care provider that operates around the Midlands and South East has opened its doors on Shirley High Street.
Easipetcare opened its facility in Shirley on March 1 and currently operates eight practices across the two other regions.
Judy Walker, who founded the company, joined the Shirley team to celebrate the opening.
Judy, a vet, said: "With the RSPCA's decision to close its branch here, we felt there was an opportunity to bring our affordable pet care approach to the area.
"Pets bring so many benefits to their owners so it's important to us to ensure that pet ownership is accessible to as many people as possible and that they can afford to care for their animals responsibly.
"We are delighted to be opening in Shirley and look forward to meeting members of the local community and caring for their animals in the years ahead."
The easipetcare team will also be providing care to the animals at the Stubbington Ark, the branch of the RSPCA.
