A Southampton man has been sentenced to prison after attacking a female police officer.
Darryl Edward Hicks, appeared at Southampton's Magistrates' Court charged with a number of crimes all committed in October and December of last year.
Hicks pleaded guilty to all of the offences.
The 25-year-old has been charged with assaulting a police officer as well as stealing £50 worth of fuel and two vodka.
Hicks, of Oakfield Lodge, Fordingbridge was also found guilty of driving whilst disqualified from holding a licence.
He was further found guilty of damaging a window at Oakfield Lodge.
Hicks will serve an overall sentence of 24 weeks in prison.
The court also ordered him to pay £300 compensation.
