THE SOUTHAMPTON mother who has just weeks to raise £30,000 for life-saving treatment is urging businesses to step in and help.

As previously reported Leah Boxall, has a rare condition that causes her head to sink into her neck.

Leah’s neck is not strong enough to hold up her head and her brain stem is slowly being crunched by the pressure from her skull.

Now with just four weeks until her surgery is booked to go ahead, the mother of one is urging people with businesses in Hampshire to donate funds to create a banner.

As part of the fundraising campaign it will be hung outside of Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury’s in Hedge End for four weeks from April 14.

Friends, family and members of the Acts of Kindness Charity will be collecting donations for Leah’s campaign outside the store from 8am until 10pm.

In an interview with the Echo, Leah said: "It is so difficult because I am essentially begging for people for my life and I literally owe my life to the people who have donated and helped.

“I will never forget the people who have supported me or the kindness of people - it is all very overwhelming.”

Any businesses that want to get involved can contact Leah by calling 07887712693.
