A major Southampton bridge was shut after a concern for welfare incident.
The Itchen Bridge was shut on Monday night in both directions, but was reopened following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 8.45pm.
The woman was then taken into the care of Hampshire police officers and the bridge was reopen.
A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said last night: "Officers attended Itchen Bridge at around 8.45pm this evening due to a concern for the welfare of a woman.
"The woman is now with officers and the bridge has reopened."
