A MAN has been charged with drugs and firearms offences following a police raid on a house in Southampton.
Marcin Kaniowski, 34, of Romsey Road, Shirley, is accused of assault, resisting arrest, possessing a weapon for the discharge of noxious liquid/gas/electrical incapacitation, possessing a shotgun without a certificate and possessing a Class B controlled drug.

He was arrested by police investigating allegations of an assault in Clarendon Road, Southampton, last Saturday just after 10.30pm. As part of the inquiury officers searched a property in Romsey Road.
Kaniowski is due appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court later today.
