Torrential rain causes cross-Solent travel problems
TORRENTIAL rain and strong winds are causing travel problems in Hampshire this morning.
There is currently traffic on the M27 westbound between West End and Whiteley and on the M3 northbound between Winchester and Southampton.
#M27 Westbound - Slow between J7/A334 #HedgeEnd Interchange and J4/#M3 #Bassett (20 minute delays).

Hover Travel has suspended its services between Ryde and Portsmouth as a result of the adverse conditions.
