A burst hot water pipe has caused a Hampshire leisure centre to close.
Specialist contractors have been called out to Gosport Leisure Centre following the incident.
Gosport Borough Council say that the centre is likely to remain closed this morning after it was shut last night.
The leak is from a hot water pipe on the first floor and a statement issued on behalf of Gosport Borough Council said: “Unfortunately Gosport Leisure Centre has had to close this evening because of a burst water pipe.
"Specialist contractors have been called out to make urgent repairs.
"The centre will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so but this is unlikely to be for the normal opening time of 6am [on Friday] morning.
