TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a two-week old baby was seriously injured.
Officers are conducting enquiries at Forton Road in Gosport after a two-week-old baby was taken to hospital on March 21.
Police confirmed that the infant is currently in a “serious condition” at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham.
Officers are trying to establish how the child was injured.
Hampshire Police confirmed that a woman and a man, both in their twenties, have been arrested as part of the investigation and bailed until late September.
