Among the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

JAMIE BRUCE DIXON, 21, of Wadhurst Gardens in Southampton. Pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis, trespassing and stealing a bike from a garage. Twelve weeks in prison, victim surcharge of £115.

ALEXANDRA JOHNSON, 32, of Weston Lane Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing £150 worth of alcohol from Asda, stealing food from Coop, failure to keep in touch with supervisor and failing to attend supervision. Five weeks in prison.

CARL WILLIAM LINDSAY, 32, of Holcroft Road, Thornhill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing chocolate selection boxes to the value of £136.50. Community order made, with drug rehabilitation requirement made to attend appointments with the responsible officer or to participate in any activity as required by the officer up to a maximum of 20 days, surcharge to victim services of £85.

ANDREW DAMIEN MELROSE, 42, of Burnetts Fields, Horton Heath, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to stealing £10. Community order made with 10 days rehabilitation activity requirement, compensation of £10 and costs of £20.

TREVOR TAFADZWA SOKO, 36, of St Johns Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Fined £20 and victim surcharge of £30.

JEKATERINA ZUBKOVA, 22, of Clovelly Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without licence or insurance on Portswood Road and driving with 59ug microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Disqualified for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks on the completion of a course. Driving licence endorsed, fined £390, victim surcharge £30, costs £85.

CARL WILLIAM LINDSAY, 32, of Holcroft Road, Thornhill, Southampton. Guilty to stealing DVDs, a cutlery set, meat. Community order made with drug rehabilitation order and rehabilitation activity requirement of 20 days.

KATRINA VANESSA PAIN, 27, of Player Court, Fordingbridge. Guilty to driving while under the influence of cannabis and Benzoylecgonne. Fined £138, victim services payment £30, costs £85.

FREDDIE POTTER, 54, of Linden Road, Shirley Warren Southampton. Guilty to possession of cannabis. Fined £80, victim surcharge £30 and £85 costs. Cannabis forfeited and destroyed.

SAMUEL WILLIS, 19, of St Andrew’s Road Portsmouth. Pleaded guilty to stealing Yankee Candles from Boots. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Compensation of £400.

DANIEL MARTIN BAKER, 29, of Sparsholt Road, Weston, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer, assault and harassment. Community order made to carry out 150 hours unpaid work, compensation £200, victim surcharge £85, £85 costs.

CALLUM MARK DORAN, 24, of Pat Bear Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to harassment. Community order made to carry out unpaid work for 60 hours within the next 12 months. Victim surcharge £85, costs £85.

GRANT ROBERT DORAN, 28, of Middle Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a man. Community order made with rehabilitation order for 20 days. Carry out unpaid work for 100 hours within the next 12 months. Victim surcharge of £85, costs £85.

TRACEY MCDONALD, 46, of Yorke Way, Hamble. Pleaded guilty to not notifying a local authority of a change of circumstances which would affect council tax benefit and housing benefit. Community order made. Victim services £85. No costs.
