Among the cases that have been heard a Southampton Magistrates’ Court were:

KEVIN JOHN ELDRIDGE, 44, of Hollybrook Close, Southampton. Found guilty driving without insurance. Fined £660 as well as orderred to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and £100 in costs. Given six points.

MAREK ANDREZEJ WIERZBICKI, 38, of Orchard House, Southampton. Guilty to driving a motor vehicle without insurance on the M27. Fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge £30 and court costs of £50 and given six penalty points.

ASHLEY JAMES CARROLL, 27, of Bank House, Fawley, New Forest. Guilty to failing to provide a breath test, driving without insurance and refusing to surrender. Fined £320, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £155 and banned from driving for 20 months.

ELLIOT JOHN DAVIES, 26, of Kilmeston Close, in Eastleigh. Guilty to a racially aggravated attack. Fined £100 and ordered to pay compensation of £150 as well as £300 costs. A community order has been imposed for 19 days.

LAURENCE DUNCAN BEST, 50, of Haviland Road East, Bournemouth. Guilty to stealing £405 from Sainsbury’s supermarket in Eastleigh. Three month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Ordered to pay £128 compensation.

LEE JAMES HOLLISTER, 28, of Ainsley Place, Lymington, New Forest. Guilty to dangerous driving. Jailed for 18 weeks. Ordered to pay victim services surcharge of £115. Banned from driving for 20 months, 63 days.

LUKE MARTIN, 22, of Orchard Lane, Southampton. Guilty to assault and damaging a mobile phone. Community order made including rehabilitation activity requirement and unpaid work. Ordered to pay victim services surcharge £85. Costs £85.

MATTHEW PETER GOVER, 32, of South Street, Eastleigh. Guilty to failing to comply a community order. Community order including participation in an accredited programme for 32 days. Fined £150.

THOMAS ERNEST TERRY FURSEY, 24, of Honeysuckle Road, Southampton. Guilty to assault by beating. Fined £50 costs and ordered to pay victim surcharge services of £85.

CARL DOUGLAS CHEYNE, 22, of no fixed address. Guilty to stealing £107 cash. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay compensation of £107, plus a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 costs.

DANIEL PIEKARCZUK, 39, of Salisbury Road, Fordingbridge, New Forest. Guilty to drink driving. Banned from driving for two years, fined £500, and ordered to pay victim surcharge services £50 plus £85 costs.

OLIVER REGINALD WAREHAM, 28, of Butts Road, Southampton. Guilty to driving without due care and attention and failing to stop after causing damage to road traffic signs. Given seven points on his licence and fined £700.

MARIA WILSON, 48, of Shraveshill Close, Totton, New Forest. Guilty to drink driving. Disqualified from driving for 23 months and fined £50, and ordered to pay £80 victim services surcharge and £85 costs.

LEIGH STEVEN REHMAN, 31, of Asturias Way, Southampton. Guilty to stealing train sets of the value of £349.97 from Toys R Us. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge services.

MICHAEL LAWRENCE STARKEY, 50, of Above Bar Street, Southampton. Guilty to failing to comply with an order imposed under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 by failing to attend appointments. Ordered by the court to pay £85 victim services surcharge.

DUNCAN DUANE EDMUNDS, 20, of Castle Street, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault by beating. Ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.
